EMDR Therapy

Are you a first responder, front line worker, or public safety personnel, struggling to manage post-traumatic stress symptoms? Have you experienced an occupational stress injury? Do you feel activated, out of control, or shut down due to operational stress?

Are you a leader seeking to explore the art of self-regulation, calm personal reactivity, and optimize your ability to manage, or supervise others?

Are you a peer, or colleague experiencing vicarious trauma, or compassion fatigue, and realize you must ‘do your own work’?

    EMDR

I offer in-person and virtual sessions.

EMDR is delivered as a complete psychotherapeutic modality to treat non-complex, single-incident trauma, or performance improvement (3-6 sessions) and complex trauma presentations (6-12+ sessions).

An EMDR session is 90-minutes @ $280.00. Direct-bill to insurance is accepted for many carriers. You must pay any balance not covered by insurance. Acceptable methods of payment are Debit, E-Transfer, Mastercard, Visa & Apple-Pay.

You are notified via text or email, 48-hours prior to your session. < 24-hours notice of cancellation or no shows will result in a $185.00 charge.

    Specialty

I specialize in Post-Traumatic Stress (PTSD/PTSIs), Occupational Stress Injuries, Moral Injury, Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue, Critical-Incident Stress, Single-Incident & Complex Trauma, and Adverse Childhood Experiences.

I also offer EMDR to increase self-regulation, calm personal reactivity and optimize performance (career/leadership and relationships).

I prioritize first responders, public safety personnel, and front-line workers. My wait-list is ‘fluid’ as it depends on the treatment progress of existing clients (1-3 months). If you are on my wait-list, I have a short-notice cancellation option (24-48 hours). Check your junk mail for my email: selbystreet@moxiemettlesoul.ca.

    Health Insurance

I am an approved provider and direct-bill Canada Life, Telus E-Health approved Insurers, Green-shield (providerConnect), Medavie Blue Cross, Sun Life and Co-Operators (claimsXchange).

If you have federal coverage under NIHB or Veteran Affairs Canada, I direct-bill from the first visit.

RCMP (1) if you are a sworn member, we require you to pre-pay under provider-of-choice (non-psychologist) or we can apply for pre-approval via OHHS prior to your 1st session. See your Supplemental Health Care policy re: Provider of Choice; (2) If you are pre-approved under VAC, I am an approved provider, and direct-bill to VAC.
